Silent good- byes

Left upon our lips

Waiting to be said

They are too bold to be forgotten



The pain they will cause

The hurt, the anguish

Crying out in the dark to

Nobody in particular

But speak to everyone the same



Whether I loved you or not

It still doesn't take away

The sadness felt that day

From those unsilent good- byes



Scarred for life?

Never will I be

For your loss is greater

Not that the eye can see



Waiting for you

I shall not attempt

For pain is no more

But it will end in silent good- byes



Silent good- byes

Rule the Earth

The mind, the body, the soul

Unlike the unsilent good- byes



They are caring

They are kind

They do not hurt

For they shall always cure

Scared?

I am not

Not even if the air

Was taken from my body

Leaving me motionless

Cold.

Like a gray winter day

Without snow on the ground

Unliving in the fog

Caught between my lips

Red.

Like blood

That draws no tears

Dripping from my heart

Pulsing throughout my veins

Leaving no other colors

Pale.

Like my face

Looking dead, unliving

Stained from the tears

Slipping from my eyes

Black.

Like the band in my hair

Holding onto my emotions

That are hidden inside

Only let out when I scream

Love

Like the way I felt before

Turned into nothing

But a nearly silenced friendship

Almost torn to shreds

Broken

Unlike people in a room

With nothing to say

But everything to lose

Everyone lacking confidence

Scared?

I am not.

Like a fallen bird sitting alone

With a cat staring into its eyes

I am terrified

Hot

Blood rushing from my veins

As the tears stream down my cheeks

Leaving grey trails behind them

Fast

My feet keep moving

My heart keeps racing

Wanting to slow down

Thought

There are so many reasons to cry

But this one is due to you

Crushing me and my feelings

Fear

There is much to fear

Not feeling loved

Feeling neglected

Alone

Once Again running

Away from my problems

Away from you.
